Quotes are for £15/plug to £240/plug. Seems there are lots of "plugs" but does anyone know what plugs the Tigs actually use. Cheers. Step 2: Locate the glow plug timer. The glow plug timer is located in the engine compartment. It is usually mounted in an out of the way location, most likely on a firewall or sidewall. If your car is equipped with a relay, it will be located in the main fuse box or close to the engine where it is less likely to get hot. Step 3: Disconnect the Connect one multimeter test lead to a ground on the engine (preferably near the glow plug). Connect the other lead to the (power supply) terminal on the top of the glow plug. Read the result off the multimeter display. Note that a resistance of less than 6Ω usually means the glow plug is ‘good’. Turn off the glow plugs. hev12.
